Riding two-up from our shop
Our bike rental in Rishikesh is used by plenty of couples, from a weekend at Kunjapuri to a full Himalayan ride. Every vehicle comes with a helmet, a chain lock and a luggage carrier at no extra cost, so you can strap a bag on and go. Fuel is not included.
Which bike for two people and luggage
- Himalayan 411. Low-down torque and a forgiving feel. A good first mountain bike for two, at ₹1,400 a day.
- Himalayan 450. More power in reserve for steep climbs with a pillion and bags, at ₹2,000 a day.
- Classic 350. Comfortable and relaxed on good roads, at ₹1,300 a day.
- Activa 125. Fine for town and short rides with light bags, at ₹500 a day.

Packing for two
Pack soft bags that strap flat to the carrier, keep heavy items low, and keep the rain gear and documents on top. Use our Himalayan bike tour packing list as a starting point. Before a long ride, tell us your route so we can check the chain, brakes and tyres for the load.

Is there a luggage carrier on the bike?
Yes. A luggage carrier is included at no cost with every vehicle we rent, along with a helmet and a chain lock. Tell us what you are carrying and we will check the fit before you leave.
Which bike is best for two people with luggage?
For a couple going to Chopta, Kedarnath or Badrinath, we usually suggest a Himalayan, the 411 or the 450, for the suspension and long-day comfort. The Classic 350 is the relaxed option for good tarmac.
Is the Honda Activa 125 enough for two people?
For Rishikesh, Kunjapuri and Neelkanth, yes, with light bags. For long mountain routes with heavy luggage, take a motorcycle.
Do both of us need a licence?
Only the rider needs a valid licence, but any rider who takes a turn on the bike needs their own licence and ID, checked at handover.
Can you add a backrest or top box?
Message us your route and what you want to carry before booking. We will tell you honestly what we can fit and what we cannot.
Do you deliver the bike to our hotel?
Yes, free anywhere in Rishikesh, including the railway station and bus stand.
