Advance amounts and permit fees already paid to government authorities are non-refundable, as we cannot recover them.

If We Cancel

If we cancel a departure for any reason within our control, you receive afull refund or a transfer to another date, your choice.

If the Mountain Cancels

Roads close. Weather turns. Permits get refused. It happens on every one of these routes and no operator can prevent it.

If a tour is cut short or altered by weather, landslide, road closure, permit refusal or any other circumstance outside our control, we will do everything reasonable to provide an alternative, and we'll refund the unused portion of ground costs where we can recover them. We cannot refund costs already committed — accommodation booked, permits issued, vehicles allocated.

We say this plainly because the alternative is saying nothing and arguing about it later. This is also exactly why we build a buffer day into our longer tours.

Permit Refusal

Inner Line Permits for Adi Kailash and Om Parvat can be refused on medical grounds or during periods of border restriction, sometimes with no notice. If your permit is refused through no fault of your own, you receive a full refund.
