Royal Enfield Himalayan 411 on Rent

₹1,400 per day

This is the bike that made Himalayan road trips a thing, and it's still the one we rent most for Uttarakhand. Simpler than the 450, lighter, more forgiving, and ₹600 a day cheaper — which over a five-day trip is ₹3,000 back in your pocket.

It's air-cooled, so it's slower to make power above 3,500 m than the 450. In practice most riders never notice, because you're rarely asking much of it at 40 km/h on a hill road.

If you're doing your first ride to Kedarnath, this is the bike we'd put you on.

Take it if: you're going into the mountains and want the cheaper, lighter Himalayan.

Don't take it if: you want maximum power at altitude — take the 450 instead.

FAQs

411 or 450?

The 411 for most people — cheaper, lighter, proven. The 450 if you want more power or you're riding two-up with luggage at altitude.

Is 24 PS enough for the mountains?

Yes. Hill riding is about low-down torque and ground clearance, not top-end power. Thousands do Kedarnath and Ladakh on this bike every year.

How's the seat for long days?

Good. Fine for 200 km days, and better than the Classic.
