Monthly Bike and Scooty Rental for Yoga Students in Rishikesh

A large share of what we rent out in Tapovan goes to people on 200-hour or 300-hour teacher training courses — here for three or four weeks, needing to get to class in the morning and the market in the afternoon, every day, for the length of the course. If that's you, renting by the day is the expensive way to do it.

The math

Thirty days at our daily Activa rate of ₹500 works out to ₹15,000. Our monthly rate is₹9,000 — around 40% cheaper, for the same scooty, the same length of time.

For getting around Tapovan, Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula daily, a scooty beats a Royal Enfield on every practical measure — easier to park in tight guesthouse spots, cheaper, and there's no licence-class complication (a gearless two-wheeler licence is all you need). We specifically stock the 125cc Activa rather than the 110 because the climb up into Tapovan is where the extra power actually shows, including riding two-up.
