The lightest and lowest Royal Enfield we rent, and the one we hand to people who've never ridden a 350. Fourteen kilos lighter than a Classic, shorter wheelbase, 17-inch wheels at both ends, and a 790 mm seat — it turns and stops like a normal motorcycle rather than like a piece of furniture.
Through Rishikesh market traffic and the Laxman Jhula lanes it's noticeably less work than any other Enfield we own. It's also the cheapest way into the Royal Enfield experience.
Take it if: it's your first big bike, you're riding mostly in and around town, or you want an Enfield you can throw around.
Don't take it if: long highway days two-up. The seat and the 13-litre tank both start to feel small.

Can I take the Hunter to the mountains?
It'll manage good tarmac like Devprayag or Kunjapuri, but for Kedarnath, Chopta or Badrinath take a Himalayan instead.
