Travelling alone does not mean you have to organise an entire rafting group yourself. A shared departure may be an option, but the date, participant requirements and confirmation conditions need to be checked.
Send your proposed date through the Anubhav Travel rafting page and ask about available shared arrangements. This guide explains how to assess a proposal without assuming a single-person enquiry guarantees a departure.
Find out whether other participants are already confirmed, whether a minimum number applies and when the team will give you a final answer. Ask what happens if the proposed departure cannot run.
If you have only one day available, say so. An alternative date is useful only if it fits your travel plans. Understand your refund or change options before paying for a departure subject to conditions.
Request the route, reporting time, operator, equipment and transfers along with the price. Check taxes and optional photographs or video. Ask whether transport is organised from a common meeting point or whether you need to reach the launch location yourself.
The price comparison guide helps separate the advertised amount from the final payable total. A single-person booking should still receive a clear quote and confirmation.
Obtain the exact reporting pin and leave enough time to reach it. If you are staying in a hostel, check your luggage arrangements before leaving. Ask the rafting team whether storage or changing facilities are available rather than carrying everything to the river.
Keep the booking contact reachable. If you are moving accommodation on the same day, plan luggage collection and onward transport separately from the rafting transfer.
Tell the team if this is your first rafting trip and raise any eligibility or swimming questions directly. Being matched with experienced participants does not establish your own suitability.
Read the first-time guide before the outing. At the briefing, ask questions if instructions are unclear and follow the actual operator’s procedures.
A shared trip is an activity arrangement, not a promise about who else will join or a guaranteed social experience. Ask about the group’s reporting and allocation arrangements where relevant, without assuming a particular raft or group composition.
If you want an arrangement reserved for yourself or companions joining later, ask about the alternatives in the shared versus private guide. Keep participant changes agreed with the team.
Include your date, accommodation area, previous experience and any fixed onward departure. Use the main rafting page to request a confirmed option and its terms. Clear timing and payment information matters just as much for one person as for a large group.
Ask about actual availability and minimum participant conditions for your date. Do not assume a shared departure always exists.
Your booking terms should explain confirmation deadlines and the available refund or change options.

Solo travellers can join shared departures with Anubhav Travel, and a shared departure needs at least 4 guests to run. Swimming is not required. Send your date to the rafting page and we will tell you which departures are available.
