Marine Drive is our longest rafting trip: 24 km on the Ganga, around 5–6 hours, and ₹1,200–₹1,800 per person including taxes. It starts at Marine Drive and finishes at Laxman Jhula or Ram Jhula, and it is available on advance group booking only.
Because it takes most of a day, the planning matters more than for our shorter trips. Ask about Marine Drive rafting with your date and group size; the exact price depends on demand and season and is confirmed when you book.
At 5–6 hours, this trip needs a clear block of time. Do not place it between two tightly timed connections. Share any fixed commitment, such as a bus or train, with the booking team when you enquire, and leave room to change and collect your belongings afterwards. Our day-planning guide covers how to build a Rishikesh day around a rafting trip.
Marine Drive is offered on advance group booking only, with a minimum of 4 guests, so send your date and group size early. Contact us for the details for your date. For a shared or private arrangement, see our guide to shared versus private rafting.
Participants must be between 14 and 60 years old and healthy, with no heart or lung problems. Swimming is not required. A longer trip means more time on the river, so tell the booking team about anyone in your group who is unsure about the health requirements before you pay.
We arrange pickup from your hotel or the nearest convenient point to it, depending on your location, and the trip finishes at Laxman Jhula or Ram Jhula. A waterproof bag is enough if you only bring your phone, drinking water is available, and storage for a bag and spare clothes can be arranged on request. Our packing guide covers what to wear.
A registered, certified guide gives the briefing and safety instructions before rafting starts, and guests fill in a no-claim (consent) form. Life jackets, helmets and paddles are provided and checked for safety.
Brahmpuri is 9–12 km and about 1–2 hours in total at ₹500 per person; Shivpuri is 16–18 km and around 3 hours at ₹800 per person. See the Shivpuri guide and our route selection guide to compare them with Marine Drive.
An advance payment confirms your booking and is non-refundable if you cancel. If a trip cannot run because of weather, we can offer a refund or a transfer to another date.
