Brahmpuri is our shortest rafting trip: 9–12 km on the Ganga, about 1–2 hours in total including transfers, at ₹500 per person including taxes. It starts at Brahmpuri and finishes at Laxman Jhula or Ram Jhula.
It suits travellers who want a rafting outing without committing most of a day. Check Brahmpuri rafting availability for your date; the exact price depends on demand and season, and we confirm it when you book.
A shorter outing fits a short stay, a tight schedule or a group that wants to try rafting once before deciding on a longer trip. Because transfers are part of the 1–2 hours, you can plan the rest of your day around it with more certainty than around a longer route.
Shorter does not mean suitable for everyone. The same participation requirements apply to every trip: participants must be between 14 and 60 years old and healthy, with no heart or lung problems. Swimming is not required. Tell the booking team about anyone in your group who is unsure about the health requirements before you pay. Our family rafting guide helps you organise those conversations for mixed-age groups, and the first-trip guide explains what first-timers can expect.
We arrange pickup from your hotel or the nearest convenient point to it, depending on your location. The trip finishes at Laxman Jhula or Ram Jhula. If only some of your group are rafting, tell us when you book so we can explain the arrangements for those who are not.
Your price covers a licensed, qualified guide, a life jacket, helmet and paddles (checked for safety before you start), transport with hotel pickup depending on location, and taxes. Photos and video cost extra (₹2,000–₹3,000 for the whole raft). Storage for a bag and spare clothes can be arranged on request, a waterproof bag is enough if you only bring your phone, and drinking water is available.
A registered, certified guide gives the briefing and safety instructions before rafting starts, and guests fill in a no-claim (consent) form. Read our packing guide before you go.
Shivpuri is 16–18 km and around 3 hours in total at ₹800 per person, and Marine Drive is 24 km and around 5–6 hours for ₹1,200–₹1,800 per person on advance group booking. Our route selection guide explains how to choose.
Send your preferred date and group size through the main rafting page. An advance payment confirms your booking and is non-refundable if you cancel. If a trip cannot run because of weather, we can offer a refund or a transfer to another date.
